Jamie Belladonna, who is serving a 40-year sentence for beating a woman to death, was advised by Demi Minor on how to change gender before securing a transfer to Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for women (EMCF) in New Jersey, according to social media posts.
Minor, who is biologically male but identifies as female, was transferred to the women’s prison in 2020, a year before the state passed a law that meant transgender inmates could be imprisoned based on their gender identity, rather than their sex at birth.
