I think development of AI and associated research went ahead without ethical considerations being put in place first. We are going towards extinction: AI arms, artificial sex, artificial relationships, AI controlled societies. This is further and further deserting the needs of the human soul.
There’s a book called Smart Until it’s Dumb. Worth a read. It’s really reassuring to know they are nowhere near what they are promoting. It’s effectively Theranos all over again. There are some thing that are simply impossible.
