Ive been reading this site 14 years (VC and this) and i make some snarky comments sometimes about comments but i take 99 percent of the articles and links seriously and I plug them very often on my FB wall to about 5000 people. I feel that there often is important news worth sharing from these sites.
\However, a very devout Christian friend of mine who doesn’t take interest in “conspiracy” type sites (i say conspiracy in a positive way, don’t know what else to call this in common terms, but I firmly state i beleive what i repost).
My friend says time is short too, but that when we obsess over occult symbolism and the Illuminati, we’re choosing to learn about the Devil and his minions. (The Illuminati all being Satanists) over concentrating on Christ (or some of you who are concerned about Illuminati but don’t buy Christ either, the point is that rather than concentrating on positve power of whatever positive divine source you believe).
He notes that we all know Satan exists and evil is in the world> it’s good to be aware of these things, but when you keep saying “time is short, be ready,” well aside from being spiritualy right with Jesus or your other positive God force, what can you do?
What do you really think that YOU, or any ONE of us, can do to stop these people with unlimited funds and media power?
If you believe in the Bible and Revelations, you KNOW that there will be horrific times ahead, to test His followers and ultimately for God/Christ to defeat Satan and the evil forces of this world before God’s Kingdom will fully come again.
And so my friend says be aware but don’t be obsessed.
And yeah, she’s doing a one-eye.
Wow that’s on point bro. It’s true, I’m a culprit of being obsessed and keeping tabs on what’s going on but not really doing anything to get ready. I think people spend time on keeping tabs on the devil than getting to know Jesus

My exact point is just that, focus your finite energy on that which will help you overcome, not that of which are more, at best, distractions than anything else. If you are seeking Truth, you’ll find Truth. But you have to actively want and seek it. I’ll reiterate that anything considered “entertainment” these days—yes even “Christian”/wholesome stuff—are distractions that detract from finding Truth/Christ/salvation/the way to overcome.
And yes, after following VC for the past 15-16+ years, and after having lived thru the past 4 years, I think it’s perfectly appropriate to now say “time is short”.
Your friend sounds like a wet blanket. God wants us to be watchmen. Nobody is obsessing except maybe the guy writing seven paragraphs talking about obsessing.

A ‘Christian’ singer that doesn’t name the holy name of Jesus Christ in her songs is a fraud to me. The god they are refering to might be the devil for all we know.

I believe your friend makes an excellent point, but I also think it’s very important to stay aware of what’s happening, and it’s important to draw parameters for what could be considered obsession. Knowledge is power and gaining more knowledge can only strengthen us and help us prepare for what’s coming. Know thy enemy.
Personally, I’m a bit concerned that (from my perception, though I could be wrong) too many people who are actually aware of the evils of the world… Just sit idly by and think it will pass, or they will somehow be saved from the worst of times. I am reminded of the quote (to paraphrase): “All it takes for evil to succeed, is for good men to sit by and do nothing.”
I think it’s great that you share information with others; hopefully some have been awakened. I hope my comment has not offended you. I enjoyed reading your comment and merely wished to offer another perspective. I think it’s important to stay as aware as possible… For many, this will strengthen their resolve to keep to the right path.
I have also been a VC reader for over 15 years… I have read every single article on the site as they’ve been published. Some may consider that obsession, but I am forever grateful to VC for helping open my eyes to all the things that felt innately wrong in this world. That being said, I have never given much stock to gematria or taken the time to try to learn it… I think it’s too random and a bit farfetched; nearly any number can be yielded by random combinations of numbers; that doesn’t grant inherent meaning. I think the people who get too invested in things like gematria are obsessed in a way that probably is damaging to their mental health. There’s something overly paranoid, almost schizophrenic about it.
Sometimes numerical meanings are coded but obvious… But mostly, I think it tends to be nonsense.

Yeah, I never was into her music, and had given up on her when she appeared on Jimmy Fallon one or two years ago. But this is kind of a big deal because most of her songs and albums go straight to number 1 on the Christian music charts and stay there for weeks and sometimes months.
This is her openly declaring that she is leaving Jesus and full on joining satan. Seeing her popularity, many unknowing Christians will be taken up by her (surely) deceptive music in the future.
If you stop watching tv and live like Christ did…

I’m truly trying to find truth & have been for the last few years. Someone said to me why does it matter if Christian artists, actors, athletes use the “one eye” ect? It shouldn’t matter to you? And I guess to a certain degree it shouldn’t. I think I just don’t want to be deceived… I spent so many years following the media narrative… and never questioned anything. I believe it’s good to have questions but not live in the land of speculation over everything
I hear you. It’s not an easy journey, but I can confidently say you’ll keep finding it so long as your heart and ear remains open and keeps listening genuinely. No one but God will ever truly know how sincere your heart is (not even yourself!) so if I may suggest and encourage, start and/or continue to pray and ask for God to purify your desire for Truth, and to bless you with discernment, wisdom and understanding. Christ is the answer to all. Keep as laser focused on that, and not on any “entertainment”, no matter how “Christian” or “good“ it seems.

I feel that the entertainment industry corrupts most who open its doors. (Or whose doors are opened to them.) There’s a powerful satanic pull in this industry.
The fact that Jimmy Kimmel has not been “cancelled” yet, despite a history of well-documented, blatantly misogynist (and borderline rape-y) behavior on the Man Show, is a testament to his masters.
Ok… not once did she mention God, Jesus or Lord in her new song so the “you” could mean anything to anyone. Second, a “Christian” singer being promoted by Jimmy Kimmel should have red flags alone. One of the song lyrics is “I know the One who parted clouds of fire by night, delivering the darkness to the light.” I guess she could mean Satan but then she says this “love is fire”. This song is confusing at best and NOT wholesome Christian. If your goal was to reach ppl with a gospel song then this was utter failure. Now add the one eye and I am inclined to agree, I don’t think it was a coincidence.
I went to her concert she didn’t mention Jesus’ name one, except for her saying she sang Jesus love me. There were also a lot of butch ladies walkin’ around. (I got free tickets)
