I seem to remember this was quite well known.
This was glossed over that time, a kind of denial fueled by his formerly clean, wholesome boy next door image. When Elvis got older and drunker though, people began to talk about the whispered rumours that America’s former Idol was into very young girls. I heard about this when I was kid in the 70s. No internet then yet this shocking rumor spread globally even to my backwater country.

I think people should stop. This was a different time, this would mean all of us have had paedo grandparents great grandparents and beyond. They had a different set of values. We have a different set of values. My grandmother was 13 married to a 20 year old and they both looked like Children in the late 1940s. We should just stop. Elvis was a person from the past with past values.
