When I was three, I opposed taking the US off of the gold standard and refused to use paper money.
True Story. I think I was around 12 when I realized that the lack of gold and silver standards meant our economic system was going to collapse in my lifetime.
I understand the point that a typical 6 year old doesn’t care about abortion….but I can see her parents talking about it enough to assist in the creation of a bias at the age of 6. Either way…it’s a silly thing to use to increase your perceived social awareness.
The 6 is absolutely symbolic here. I just wish I understood their use of numbers better.
Imagine being 6 years old and knowing that sometimes mommies have a special operation where they take out babies they don’t want. I think that would make me afraid that mom might decide at any moment to get rid of me if she wants to. That must be terrifying for young kids. And why is she trying to imply that a 6 year old could understand a complex issue like abortion, much less make a rational decision about it? I’m sure her mom was really in favor of abortion. If your husband was cheating on you all the time, I bet you’d want to make sure those other women had access to abortion. After all, she had presidential dreams she didn’t want destroyed by Bill’s love child popping up one day.
