The secret service were told to stand down and let them in. It was all allowed to happen.
There’s another journalist commenter on this thread who posted two videos showing the police opening the doors for people. Sounds like it was more than allowed, it was orchestrated and people were taunted, attacked and cattle-prodded, with under-covers leading the charge. They created the spectacle they wanted to present to the world. Amazing it wasn’t worse.
