Amazing, given these mindsets, that mankind has made it thus far, nevermind thrived to the point of “threatening the very planet” with annihilation for our overabundance. However did we make it so far without the interventions of man and their technologies? They intend to “save us” by culling us, which really means they intend to save themselves and their standards of living while curating the rest of us down to size and desired qualities to best serve their interests. These purported guardians of equality are not at all fond of sharing their own resources.
Why, then, did they remove natural selection in so many warning labels, safety nets, security blankets, etc, if they did not stand to gain from this enormous, insipid energy pool? We have been nothing but worker bees and emotional batteries for their ends.
Might be good to link the article or at least tell us where its from so we can find it. Call me crazy

This is from Mother Jones, May of 2020. Doesn’t really speak to today’s confusion.
It’s amazing that there can be public mockery of something once taught in high school science class, and yet most folks my age (40-something) support the mockery of what they were taught. So strange… Of course, I stopped watching TV at age 20 and most of them continued… TV is one hell of a drug.
