This is nothing new to North Texas. It’s been happening at least since I moved here in 1997.
If I were to guess, I would say DARPA is behind this. Back in 2014 DARPA released a study on their website: ‘Researchers working on DARPA’s Quantum Effects in Biological Environments (QuBE) program have shown that the electromagnetic noise that permeates modern urban environments can disrupt a bird’s internal magnetic compass.
