Why is he obsessed with Iceland? He must not be exotic enough here, we have idiots like him all over LA
Lots of pagan roots and superstitious beliefs there, maybe that’s why HE is obsessed with it. The use of “they” in this article makes me want to punch the writer.
I used to work remote years ago with a bunch of people from Iceland and never heard about it except for work and Bjork.

To the younger crowd I know now it seems to be one of the current hip locations (mid20s – 30s crowd) and being cheap would definitely help.
The ones I know that are really into it have been there several times are really into the viking history/culture. I’m not certain if they are into it for the pagan aspects (a few have rune tattoos) but they are very into reenacting – sort of like SCA geeks only at a much more involved level.
It’s cheap…… That’s why mums go to Iceland (Iceland is a cheap British supermarket) 😁
