I have a big attraction to the gothic/punk rock aesthetic. I am currently fighting the temptation to dress in that fashion sense because it has a huge association with witches and rebellion. But I do remember seeing this album cover of this band and immediately seeing the symbolism. Even another album name of theirs was called Juju which is a name sacred to Jupiter. And the music video Happy House just to name a few.

I was a goth kid. I recommend you find the rock documentary Hell’s Bells online, it has a section on goth. People make fun of that documentary but it made a lot of sense to me. The presenter says about goth that it is almost more insidious than other forms of occult music because it is more subtle, intelligent and artistically sophisticated than something like Ozzy. But a lot of the bands really did introduce dark ritual material into their music. Read David J’s book about being in Bauhaus, he was and is a practicing occultist. Hell’s Bells mentions how when Peter Murphy recited the Lord’s Prayer backward in a recording session, something showed up, some entity, and they all ended up fleeing the studio. And several bands, including Siouxsie and Yaz, used the Lord’s Prayer blasphemously in songs. I think the worst is Nick Cave, I saw a photo of his squat in Berlin and there were things on the wall that looked like he was conjuring demons, or is a serial killer. Please be careful with that aesthetic. I understand why you like it, but I do think it leads to a dark place for real.

Yes. I do see gothic rock/new wave as having a sense of intelligence added to it especially when the lyrics are very poetic. That’s what made me really like Bauhaus. My family being into rap and hip hop is what made me cling onto the music and I still have a hard time letting go. Plus I had a traumatizing ordeal at catholic school which is what made me start my attraction to the opposite side when I was younger. It’s interesting because Peter Murphy did grow up in a strict catholic household and likely had a horrible experience in catholic school. Shows how fake the people in the catholic church can be. But luckily I had a personal experience with the supernatural that made me finally accept God is real. And ever since then I learned so much more truth then the church would ever teach.

The Catholic church has roots in imperial Rome, and also in the much older Etruscan culture that originated in Asia Minor and worshipped the female aspect of Satan. The Vatican itself is named after Vaticana, the “goddess” of the underworld, and supposedly a huge stone was brought from Asia Minor representing her and was placed in the catacombs under Vatican hill in Roman times. It may still be there. There is a long history of worshipping the “goddess” in the form of a stone, which is the reason why the Masons are called what they are. I also had a sustained traumatic experience with Christianity in my youth. I grew up in a part of America with very toxic attitudes about it, which drove me to explore world religions. I have in adulthood come to realize that I should not let bad experiences with certain “Christians” come in the way of cultivating a relationship with Christ.

PS – If you haven’t watched it yet, I recommend going on the main Vigilant Citizen site and watching the Altiyan Childs video exposing Freemasonry. If Justin Bieber is consorting with the actual dark side, there is pretty much zero chance that Robert Smith isn’t, too.

Back in the day, before all of this knowledge was known to me, I would have looked at that and thought ‘wow, that’s artistic’ – now – I just look at it and think ‘how demonic’.

The adepts of organized/Abrahamic religions pointing the finger at those unlike them = a great case of pot calling the kettle black.

So what you’re saying is you’re OK with all this occult/mind control symbolism.

Noted.

I think that comment was a response to me mentioning my bad experience in the Catholic Church.

I’d like to point out that you came on to a Christian-oriented website and criticized the people here, not the other way around.
