NBC News "softens up" pictures of transgender swimmer Lia Thomas to make him look more feminine

They cleaned up his eyebrows, added shadow to his eyelids, whitened the whites of his eyes, removed the under eye bags, added a peach tint to his lips, removed the creases on his neck and even hid the sideburns.

What do you think?

No matter how much medical intervention he receives, his musculoskeletal system will always be male.

True, but with enough chemical alteration, the hit to strength and bone density cannot be denied. This person will not be at their peak anymore. At some point they may even be on par to the strongest women.

Also why are these the only sports brought up in controversy and not things like gurning, cheese rolling, or equestrian sports?

The length of the muscles and bones of men and women are different. Once your shoulders get wider and your muscles and bones lengthen, it doesn’t come back. The effects of testosterone are irreversible. And although they take estrogen, their genes continue to command their bodies to release testosterone.

Being on estrogen when the body wants testosterone will weaken bones and muscle. This is an observable fact. You’re talking about bone length which is only a boon in some sports but not all. As i already mentioned a handful of sports that dont really measure physical strength disparity

As a guy who used to work out muscle memory is part of the skeletal muscle remembering how strong you used to be. Hence old man strength/dad strength.

When will they fix his male pattern baldness and prostate? What about his Adonis belt? What about that pesky chromosome?
