HSBC has a seemingly innocent image of a child with a toy – but wait – what do we really see? A one eye symbol, in a bleak, black and white world, against a red logo. Not a very warm and inviting environment for a child to be in.
And when you look at at the toy – the child’s eye does not appear to be in the usual place – to me, it looks as if the eye is in the centre of the head like a Cyclops.
The red symbol in this image appears to me to be a cleverly disguised unicursal hexagram.
