MIT researchers have developed a novel way to record a patient’s vaccination history: storing the data in a pattern of quantum-dot dye, invisible to the naked eye, that is delivered under the skin at the same time as the vaccine.

Invisible QR codes basically. People already have been finding weird numbers and bluetooths linked to their phones after getting the so-called “vax”.

An alternative word for “a pattern of quantum-dot dye” could be something like “mark”.
