Good article but no Christian is turning their back on god, we turn our backs on the agenda many churches are pushing, the vax the alphabet people, etc. I am personally sick of bishops, priests, pastors being paid to tell me and the rest of the congregation to wear masks and get the vax. Its a faithless stance and sickening to to see photoshops of our saviour and lord wearing a mask. Six families in our congregation have quit going over the vax and mask push
I agree with you Michael, that no true believer of the lord turns his or her back to the almighty. I agree with you, that the dogma and agenda pushing in many churches is blasphemous and must be stopped.
However, many of those that are weak of mind and/or fearful are led astray by the wolves hiding in shepherds clothings: whether that is health “experts,” government leaders, or blasphemous preachers/priests. Moses had to shatter Gods commandments and show ire at the sight of the golden idol to return the Israelites to Yawehs praise. Jesus had to remind Peter he would deny him to secure his faith. That is where it is our place, as true followers of the lord, to shepherd the sheep back to the lords pasture.

The pandemic has caused the opposite effect on me. Lol God is a prayer away. You don’t need a church.
